Mongoose

Could it be environmental? I know the air quality down here is ruining my lungs. Well, I hope the prednisone helps.

You don't have to be a smoker to have chronic lung problems. Is there a family history of asthma or allergies? Are you naturally fair-haired or redheaded with fair skin and sunburn easily?

I got the double whammy on this scenario. I got the asthma and allergies, plus the red hair and milk white skin. People with fair hair/ red hair tend to have compromised immune systems and extremely sensitive systems in general. Any time I get even a minor cold I wind up with a secondary lung infection.

You might check into some allergy testing. You would be surprised how much easier you can breathe if you get unknown allergies under control. Also check into herbal products. There are several herbs that aid in breathing. I use Lobelia and Mullein.

Hope that helps!
